Stumbras Museum

Concept, art direction, design and project management in creating of Stumbras museum space. For over 100 years Stumbras is a leading alcoholic beverages producer in Lithuania. Museum space is a reflection of role Stumbras played in rich history of Lithuanian pastime.

This project was very special to me because it wasn’t only about the company. It was about the history, people who worked there and how they preserved deep traditions and recipes from generation to generation. Even though many original factory items were lost during the soviet occupation, I enrolled the help of multiple antique hunters to help us locate long lost pieces used in distillery process, berry crushing machines, bottles, labels and even smallest items like hand cream tubes that were used by women workers.
